PEARL BEACH HOUSE
Residential, Private Client, 2025
Nestled in a serene coastal village, Pearl Beach House stands as a harmonious dialogue between architecture and nature. At its heart, the centrally positioned kitchen serves as a gathering space, opening onto two external courtyards—an intentional nod to the owners’ Italian island heritage, where food, family, and the outdoors are central to daily life. While rendered walls, terracotta tiles, and Italian marble evoke memories of the Mediterranean, the house remains grounded in its distinctively Australian context through the use of expansive glass openings that frame native eucalyptus. The result is a tranquil atmosphere that dissolves the barrier between indoor and outdoor living, as well as bridges the family’s cultures.
